Setting up a WebDAV server Connection in GoLive CS2

To set up a connection to the Brandeis web server using WebDAV, please follow these steps:

1. From the File menu's Server submenu, select Connect to WebDAV.
   
   
   
   
2. GoLive will display the Select Server window.
3. In the boxes that appear in the lower half of the window, enter the following text.

4. Nickname	Brandeis web server
   Server	webserver.brandeis.edu
   Directory	/**
   Username	(Your UNet ID)
   Password	(Leave blank)*

   *Make sure that you do not save your password inside GoLive!
   ** The directory should be the directory you are trying to access. Remember the slash before and after the directory. For example, if you are trying to access the Anthropology website you would type in /departments/anthro/.

5. Click on the box labeled Save to remove the checkmark that automatically appears there.
6. Click on the button labeled Advanced.
   
   
   
   
7. In the Advanced HTTP Options window that appears, click on the option button labeled SSL. Click OK.
8. Click OK again to finish reconfiguring your connection to the Brandeis web server.
