The basic process to set up your TV is to connect all the proper wires, set the TV to Cable (CATV) mode, and autoscan the channels. Since each TV's menu is different, make sure to bring the manual and remote control if you can. The two most common solutions to cable issues are running an autoscan and making sure that the TV is set to CATV IRC mode. If you have any other questions, call the UNet Help Desk at 781-529-UNET.

The cable network is incapable of supporting pay-per-view or premium channels. Brandeis had a "tiered" system, but decided to move to the current system in response to signal theft and vandalism. We apologize for the inconvenience.
IPTV - television over the Internet - is a fairly new system at Brandeis. While you can watch TV on your computer from anywhere on campus, the channel selection is rather limited. This is not meant to replace the cable TV system right now.
