Description of the Software

LabVIEW, produced by National Instruments, is a powerful graphical development environment which can be used for signal acquisition, measurement analysis, and data presentation. LabVIEW also provides the flexibility of a programming language without the complexity of traditional development tools.

Join the Local User Group and Mailing List

Questions about the use of LabVIEW should be directed to the Brandeis LabVIEW User Group. If you would like to join this group, email user group Steven Karel at LabVIEW@brandeis.edu.

Ask to join the Brandeis LabVIEW User Group mailing list:

  1. Click on the following link: https://lists.brandeis.edu/www/subrequest/labview-users
  2. Brandeis community members: enter your UNet ID in the email address field, hit submit, and enter your UNet password in the subsequent password field.
  3. Off campus users: enter your email address in the email address field and hit submit.
  4. Your request to join will be forwarded to the LabVIEW User Group coordinator and an email will be sent to you when you are added to the list.

How to Purchase and Install LabVIEW

We have a site license for LabVIEW from National Instruments.
