On your mobile device open the bmail web interface This will allow you to read & send email, view and edit your calendar and contacts.
There is even a cool iPhone web interface

Many smart phones or PDA's support active sync as a way to connect to the Bmail servers. Active Sync allows you to have your email conacts and calendar sync'd to your device wirelessly. It also supports push email that will allert you immediately when a new email arrives in your inbox. You can also schedule and respond to meeting requests right from your device.
Setup of Active sync varies from device to device but the general settings are the same:
Server: Your Zimbra message store
SSL: on
Domain: brandeis.edu
Username/Password: same as your email passwords

Bmail has a downloadable J2ME client that runs on many Java enabled smart phones.

Bmail supports direct push mail to Blackberry devices via our Blackberry Enterprise Server. For activation and more information please contact the LTS help desk at x67782. Some Blackberry devices also support the J2ME client so check to see if your device is suported! If you have already been assigned a pin for activation go here.
