Microsoft Visual Studio is a software development tool that is used to create applications for Windows, Microsoft Office, and the Web. Visual Studio is not Brandeis-supported software, but is available to Brandeis faculty and staff as part of the Microsoft Campus Agreement.
To download Visual Studio, visit the online software request form. A Help Desk staff member will get back to you with installation instructions.
Brandeis students who need to use Visual Studio may choose to buy their own copy. Brandeis has negotiated special deals with a company called JourneyEd for all kinds of software including Visual Studio.
Microsoft Visual Studio training is available off-site for a fee through Brandeis agreements with New Horizons and CompuWorks.
