Adobe FrameMaker is a desktop publishing and word processing program that is popular for large documents and technical writing. It is available for Windows computers. Adobe FrameMaker is not Brandeis-supported software, but it is available at a discount to Brandeis faculty and staff.
Brandeis is able to purchase Adobe products at substantial discounts. These prices provide the purchaser with a license to use the software but not with the actual media or manuals, which may be purchased separately. To check the latest price or buy Adobe FrameMaker, visit the online software request form. A Help Desk staff member will get back to you with installation instructions.
Brandeis students who need to use Adobe FrameMaker may choose to buy their own copy. Brandeis has negotiated special deals with a company called JourneyEd for all kinds of software including Adobe FrameMaker.
FrameMaker training is available off-site for a fee through Brandeis agreements with New Horizons and CompuWorks.
