Firefox and Safari are Internet browsers. Firefox is distributed by Mozilla and is available for both Windows and Mac, and Safari is an Apple product available just for Mac. Supported versions are listed on the recommended software list.
Firefox for Windows or Mac is free and available on Brandeis's public software repository.
If you have a Mac, it came with Safari alread installed.
