Through a contract with JourneyEd, Brandeis students are eligible for steep discounts on software. However, we feel we must warn you: please DO NOT choose the option to verify your enrollment at Brandeis online by entering your Social Security number. As a general principle, you should not volunteer your SSN as a form of ID to anyone because of the risk of identity theft. Instead, please use one of these other methods recommended by JourneyEd to verify your enrollment at Brandeis.
You can get to JourneyEd by visiting www.Journeyed.com/select or www.campusestore.com. Once connected to the site, choose type (college), then state, and then Brandeis to get to the store.The University has a site licsense for Symantec Antivirus, so there is not need to purchase your own antivirus software while at Brandeis. Software for the Brandeis community is available from Brandeis's public software repository. Both Windows and Macintosh software are located here, and all of it is freeware, shareware, or, as in the case of Symantec Antivirus, commercial software for which Brandeis has a campus-wide license. You'll also find a lot of specialized software for particular coursework. If there is any software here that is required for one of your classes, your professor will let you know.
