We highly recommend choosing supported software for your daily computing needs:  web browsing, email, calendar, word processing and spreadsheets, and so on.  Check out the list of supported software for more information on what's recommended and how to get it.

Software available at no charge

Software for the Brandeis community is available from Brandeis's public software repository. Both Windows and Macintosh software are located here, and all of it is freeware, shareware, or, as in the case of Symantec Antivirus, commercial software for which Brandeis has a campus-wide license. Brandeis also has a licence for Microsoft products, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, which you can find more information about here. 

Software available for purchase
