Alumni E-mail

Leaving Brandeis, but not graduating?

For graduates in December 2008 and after

If you graduated in December 2008 or after, your email account is guaranteed to stay open for about six months after your graduation.  Until then, you will be able to access your Brandeis email exactly as you've done while at Brandeis.  Sometime after six months has elapsed that will change, and your Brandeis address will become a forwarding address only--that is, email sent to your Brandeis address will be forwarded to another email address of your choice.  Be assured we'll provide ample warning before that change is made.  At any time you can visit the mail options page to forward your Brandeis email to another email address.

Even after your Brandeis email account becomes a forwarding address only, you will still be able to use your Brandeis email username and password to log into SAGE (i.e. to view and order transcripts, even after graduation).

Last, you may want to visit the Alumni Association's website and register for B-Connect at https://alumni.brandeis.edu/onlineservices/firsttime/.  If prompted to provide a username, to prevent problems later you will want to use your Brandeis email username.

While your existing email account will remain open for some months, we very strongly recommend that you download all your saved email to your computer now, while in range of a fast local network and the Help Desk. Next year's new students would also appreciate it if you can clean up your old mail before they arrive. Check out our instructions to archive your email from Bmail.
