Leaving

"Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow..."

If you are graduating, there are a couple of things you'll want to take care of (and a few we want you to take care of).

(Your UNet account will be handled differently if you're leaving but not graduating -- for example,  studying abroad, or if you are  transferring, taking a leave of absence, or leaving for some other reason.)

Checklist for graduating seniors:

Forward Your E-mail

Your email account will close shortly, so before you back everything up make sure you set up a forwarding address to make sure you get any e-mail sent to your Brandeis address.

Archive your e-mail and files

You've put in a lot of time and probably have a lot of important material in your Brandeis account. Making an archive ensures that you'll have it when you want it, and also frees up room on the university's servers. You may wish to archive your email and files before you leave campus, while you are in range of a fast network and the Help Desk. Your account will be disabled a few months after graduation, so please be sure to archive your email and files before then.  After your account is disabled your email and files will no longer be available.

Return Your Phone

If you're graduating, here's information about how to return your Cisco phone.  And we'd really appreciate it if you did.

Return your Brandeis Library and Interlibrary Loan books

Book drop off bins are available at both Main and Science for borrowers who return items after operating hours. The Science Library book drop is located in the Science complex to the right side of the Science Library Main entrance. The Main Library book drop is located on the side of the building directly across from Usdan cafeteria. Any questions? Contact: circulation@brandeis.edu or x64624.

Manage Your Student Organization

If you run one of Brandeis' over 250 student-run clubs, performing arts troupes, academic leagues, or other special interest associations, here's all the things you should to do make sure your successor has access to all the resources you've been using.
