Faculty and Staff Name Change


Adding a directory 'nickname' - does not affect employment/pay records

A faculty or staff member can have a nickname added for them in the Phonebook Maintenance Utility by their department's phonebook admin. If the department has no phonebook admin, LTS can make the adjustment. Phonebook administrators only can log in to the phonebook utility hereNOTE: This only makes you searchable by the nickname; the original name will still show up as the result of the search. If you want to change the name that is displayed, you must undergo a complete name name change (see below).

Complete Legal Name Change - Affects All Systems

A Faculty or Staff member who wants a complete name change should make the change through Brandeis University Self Service (BUSS) at http://pay.brandeis.edu. After you log in, you should see a link that says "Name Change", which will bring you where you  need to go.
