As of fall 2011, Brandeis no longer offers students individual phone service.
Wall-mounted phones located throughout the residence halls are available for emergency and convenience use. Phones are located throughout the hallways in 'dormitory style' buildings. In the 'suite' and 'apartment-style' buildings, each individual suite or apartment has its own wall-mounted phone. LTS recommends that students bring a cell phone or make use of free online voice services such as Skype or Google Talk's Voice feature. As in the past, LTS provides individual phones for Community Advisors (CAs) and Community Development Coordinators (CDCs) in the residence halls.
