Considerations for your computer purchase

•  For personal computer purchases, we strongly suggest you buy Apple, Dell or Toshiba through the links below in order to receive warranty repair services from the Brandeis Hardware Repair Shop. We are unable to service any warranty that is not added from one of the portals below.
• Student residence halls only have wireless internet access; wired ports are not available.
• If you add a printer to your purchase, please be aware that Brandeis does not support wireless printers.

Faculty and staff: Please buy one of this year's recommended models in order to receive full Help Desk service. Other models and manufacturers will receive best effort service from the Help Desk as time permits.

Students: We recommend some Apple, Dell and Toshiba models, but it is OK to buy any Apple or Dell model and any Toshiba Satellite Pro, Tecra or Portege model through the online portals below.  We can only service warranties added through the portals below.
