Backing Up Your Data

Loading

As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that you back up your data using one of our recommended solutions.

- Purchase an external hard drive.

500gb hard drives are available for sale at the Hardware Repairshop

- Use software to easily back up your data.

The Hardware Repairshop sells Rebit software for data backup on PCs. Apple's easy backup feature Time Machine is included in OSX 10.5 Leopard and later. Alternatively, you can manually back up your data by dragging files on to an external hard drive or USB drive.

- Backup your data online.

There are several online backup services such as DropboxMozy or Carbonite.
