Can I share a Calendar to people outside of Brandeis?
This feature is very useful if you have vendors who are regularly trying to schedule meetings with you and stops the “Are you free on…?” back and forth when trying to schedule multiple people outside of Brandeis.
You can give someone or anyone outside of Bmail the ability to see when you are free.
If you share this link with them they will get a link to your free/busy schedule in a nice HTML format.

Also, you can share your real calendar with them with all the details if you right click on your calendar to share it and choose public. You can also create special access to someone outside of Brandeis with a password. The link will work in a calendar program like gmail or ical. If you use this link instead it gives you a nice HTML calendar

Why would you want to do this? Well maybe not to your calendar but you might want to do this for an event calendar or a resource calendar like a meeting room or a piece of equipment like a microscope or a projector.
