WebCT Vista has been retired as of June 30, 2008.LATTE is now Brandeis University's only online learning environment. |
All past WebCT and ERes courses are archived on a server supported by the WebCT support staff. Courses are archived after the conclusion of the semester unless an instructor requests they be kept active. An email notification of this is sent at least one week prior to the archiving date.
Instructors may have old WebCT courses restored completely or have the materials posted in them loaded into new WebCT courses. Instructors should click on the link "Request WebCT course" for this course in the myCourses interface and follow the instructions provided, or contact the WebCT Support Desk (x64739, latte@brandeis.edu).
The instructor on record with the Brandeis Registrar is considered to be the owner of the WebCT course and its contents. This individual must approve any request for a new WebCT course, any request for access to a current course (other than by enrolled students), and any request for access to past course materials.
Brandeis University is committed to complying fully with current copyright laws and appropriate guidelines. Materials duplicated for use in WebCT should abide by these laws and guidelines. For more information on copyright, see our Copyright Resources. For a description of what can be considered "fair use" of copied materials, see our Fair Use Checklist.
Any questions about WebCT support or policy should be directed to the WebCT Support Desk (x64739, latte@brandeis.edu).
