If you logged onto this computer with your UNet ID, a user profile has been created for you so that you can save your work for short-term projects. However, if you have logged on as a Guest all files will be deleted when you log out.
If you started a project on another computer, you can connect to that computer and copy your files to this one using the Finder and the computer's number. Ask a Getz employee for assistance.
All user profiles are periodically deleted to keep the lab computers running smoothly. You will be notified before your profile is deleted and will have an opportunity to move your files to a secure location.
If you will be working on a long-term project, we recommend using secure storage for your files. To make a request, please complete this form.
If you are working on a complex project and would like to use some of our special hardware or if you need some expert guidance, please complete this form and a member of our staff will schedule an appointment to meet with you.
