We accept materials such as books, videos, and audio CDs for reserve.
Personal items can be placed on reserve but cannot be protected from the wear and tear of heavy use. Personal copies must be marked and barcoded for use with our circulation system. The library cannot assume liability for personal copies which are stolen or damaged. Personal items will be returned to the instructor via intercampus mail at the end of the semester unless other arrangements are made in advance.
We cannot place on reserve any unauthorized reproduced copy of a book, video or CD. To request the library purchase an item for reserve, see here.
Journal articles and book chapters are not accepted for physical reserve. Many journal articles are accessible online to the Brandeis University community and can be shared with students by linking to the journal article within a LATTE course - no need to scan and upload! Alternatively, you can scan and upload articles and chapters to your LATTE course.
Please take the time to review our copyright guidelines.
