The primary function of the on-site Reserve collection is to temporarily house information resources designated each semester by faculty for specific courses. Each semester the Reserve collection will consist of a variety of materials set apart from the general collection by a specially-defined set of circulation policies to ensure access for a designated group. These materials are assumed to be in high demand for a limited time by the students of the specified courses. Reserve services ensure that the high demand items are equally available to all by restricting borrowing time and conditions.
Photocopies and reprints of journal articles and book chapters should be uploaded to your LATTE course. Please take the time to review our copyright guidelines.
Our services are offered to any faculty, staff, or teaching assistants affiliated with Brandeis University. While the Reserve Services maintains our collection primarily for the graduate and undergraduate college of arts and sciences, we extend our services to other departments such as the Brandeis Adult Learning Institute and the Continuing Studies Department.
