- Select PC, MAC, or EXTERNAL COMPUTER (for laptop connections). The screen will lower and the projector will power automatically. Please allow enough time for the projector to warm up. Your selection will also display on the touch panel.
- Use the beige keyboard for the PC, the clear plastic keyboard for the Mac, and the supplied laptop video and audio cables to the left of the Crestron touch panel for laptop connections.
- PC LOGON: ***Use your UNET email address and password, in the USERS domain. ***
- Volume levels from any source may be controlled for both room levels and touch panel levels, using the VOLUME buttons with gauges on the touch panel. Make sure audio amplifier (and all rack items) are powered ON for proper performance. Rack is located behind the lectern to your left. Access code will be provided after proper training.
Playing DVDs, Videotapes, or Cable TV
- Access the rack, under the lectern.
- Insert your DVD disc or VHS tape as appropriate.
- Press the appropriate input source button on the touch panel station, DVD, VCR or CABLE depending on your media. If you are "turning on"S the system, follow the instructions above. The screen will lower and the projector will power on automatically. Please allow enough time for the projector to warm up. You selection will also display on the touch panel.
- Use the transport controls for your selected device. Controls will be found either on the units themselves or on the touch panel.
- Important note: Occasionally a source will "freeze up" or will "not appear" when its button is pressed. The solution to this is to press BACK to return to the main screen. Once at the main screen, enter a different source. Once the new source screen appears, press BACK again, and then re-enter your initial selection. We apologize for this intermittent flaw.
Playing Audio CDs or Cassette Tapes
Audio CDs are played through the DVD player. Cassette tapes are played in the cassette deck.
- Access the rack under the lectern.
- Insert your CD into the DVD player, or cassette into the Cassette Deck.
- Press either the DVD or CASSETTE button on the touch panel.
