Media Technology Services is active throughout the Brandeis community:
MTS is responsible for the ongoing improvements, management and support of all classroom and conference room technology for teaching, learning and scholarship.
MTS provides design, installation and maintenance support for campus-wide initiatives involving integrated technology; including PCs, presentation, sound, audio and videoconferencing, and related gear.
MTS serves as lead support and project management for all video production and communication efforts on campus. This includes: videoconferencing, streaming, on-demand video, IPTV services, and live video recording or production. Self-help pre & post-production, or educational material support is provided in the Getz Media Lab, or through Research & Instruction (RIS), available at (781) 736-4739.
MTS supports all event-related staging, rentals and loans, along with installed presentation systems for academic, administrative, student and public events. This support is provided at no charge (N/C) for academic use, within the parameters of normal operations, and in registrar-controlled classrooms only. Our Rate Sheet pricing applies to all other orders. This includes rentals and loans through the Brandeis Conference and Events Department, available at (781) 736-4300.
Note: MTS will always continue to support all traditional AV equipment and its users on campus!

LTS recently experienced some staff reductions which impacted our department (MTS) directly. Due to the reduction in our staff, we have discontinued the video duplication / digitization service until further notice. We suggest two options:
An outside vendor to provide the service, but MTS has no control over their fees. Two suggestions are:

You can attempt the duplication process on your own in the Getz Media Lab, info here -- where multiple Mac capture stations are available, possibly with some assistance from their student staff.
MTS provides flexible coverage based on University needs and our available staff. Below are general office hours for consideration when making appointments or picking up / dropping off equipment.
