Display Technology or Sound Reinforcement Request
There are many reasons for users to think about implementing technology into their academic course, departmental conference, or large-scale event. Media Technology Services (MTS) supports these needs in many ways on campus.
First, a few tips below will let you know if MTS is the proper group to work with:
- If you would like assistance in creating course content, feel free to contact Research & Instruction Services @ 781-736-4739.
- To discuss established computer labs or clusters on campus, you would work with our Computer Classrooms & Clusters Group @ 781-736-4654.
- Approximately 90% of campus classrooms and conference rooms are technology enriched, classified as TEC rooms. Instructions and details for these rooms are available here, or by calling MTS at either 781-736-4632 or 781-736-4609.
- If you wish to utilize space in the International Business School, you would first work directly with either IBS or Conference & Events.
- If you find yourself in a campus space with no installed technology, or if you need traditional AV support, e.g. overhead/35mm slides, you may use the form below to request specific equipment or services from our Rental / Loan Coordinator. Alternately and if preferred, you may phone directly at 781-736-4635. A phone call is a good idea if you have an immediate need, or are less than two weeks from your event date.
If you are submitting a request for equipment or services for your classroom or event, MTS will need at least ten (10) business days advance notice. Submitting the request does not guarantee availability of equipment or staff. Once we have received your request, the Rental Coordinator will contact you to discuss specifics and logistics.
