Located in the Brandeis University Library on Farber Level 3 (the Creative Arts floor), the Getz Multimedia Lab provides members of the community with access to workstations for digital video production, digital audio production, graphic design, and computer animation. We have 25 Mac computers running professional media software including Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, and Logic Pro. Our trained student staff is available to assist with general support and troubleshooting on a walk-in basis, as well as for in-depth consultation and hands-on tutoring by appointment.
We loan out audio and video recording equipment for curricular use and extracurricular projects. Training on basic equipment is offered on a routine basis and does not require advance notice to borrow. Patrons interested in borrowing our more advanced equipment must schedule an appointment for training and pickup. Here is a complete list of our available equipment.
