Nineteenth-Century Masterfile
Available through the Brandeis University Libraries' Databases page. This database contains a wealth of information on 19th-century periodicals and newspapers. It includes nineteenth-century periodical records, the New York Times Index from 1863-1905, the New York Daily Tribune Index from 1875-1906, indexes to several 19th-century magazine titles, and more.

American Culture Series 1493-1875
This microfilm collection includes the full text of more than 5,750 early American books and pamphlets on 643 microfilm reels. The guide includes a comprehensive subject index. Full cataloging records for individual items in this series are in LOUIS, the Library online catalog.

The American Periodicals Series (APS) consists of three parts: APS I, 18th Century contains the full text of 88 periodicals on 33 microfilm reels; APS II, 1800-1850 contains the full text of 923 periodicals on 1,966 microfilm reels; and APS III,1850-1900 contains the full text of 117 periodicals on 771 microfilm reels. The guide to the microfilm collections includes title, editor, subject and reel number indexes.
