How do I renew Brandeis library materials?
Use the my account feature in LOUIS the library catalog to renew your books. Using my account, you can also see a list of the items you have charged out, their due dates and any fines that you owe.
How do I access my account?
Click here: my account. Or, from the LTS home page, click on "Library Catalogs" and select "LOUIS." Once in LOUIS, select my account from the list of options towards the top of the screen, and choose a login option:
There are two ways you can log into my account:
What do I enter for a Library User ID?
Your Library User ID is the number on your University ID card if you are faculty, staff or a student. But remember, faculty, staff, and students can login using the UNET ID and Password!
If you are Alumni or a Boston Library Consortium borrower your Library User ID is the barcode number on your borrowing card.
What is my Library PIN (personal identification number)?
Your Library PIN is assigned by the Libraries' automated computer system. It can be given to you by library staff if you present a photo ID at the Loans & Returns desk. Email circulation to request your Library PIN.
If you are faculty, staff, or a student, you don't need to worry about your Library PIN, because you can now login using your UNET ID and Password.
Can I change my Library PIN?
You can change your Library PIN once you log in for the first time.

Can I use this same Library User ID and Library PIN to access electronic databases and request books through Interlibrary loan?
Electronic databases can be accessed using your UNET ID and Password (same as you would use to access your e-mail). For information on accessing electronic databases go here: E-Resources Help
Interlibrary loan usernames and passwords are chosen by each user--they may not be the same as the UNET ID and Password. For questions about Interlibrary Loan, go here: Interlibrary Loan
