History--Biography
Student organizations have been a large part of the extracurricular life
of the student at Brandeis since the founding of the University in 1948.
Student organizations include performance groups, ethnic associations,
literary associations, academic societies, and public service groups. All
organizations are created and run by students. Currently, there are more
than 200 clubs and organizations at Brandeis.
