The images below come from William Blake's book Auguries of
Innocence which was published by the Gehenna Press in 1959.
The images in the book were printed from wood engravings done by
Leonard Baskin. Only 250 copies of the book were printed for the Print
Club of Philedelphia. Leonard Baskin felt that this book was a a
milestone in his printing, as he said "Nothing grand or stunning
but spaces spread and contained with a just nicety and rules deployed
with grace and subtlety and bits of color judiciously used." Click
