Eduard Lasker Collection
Eduard Lasker was a political leader during the Bismarck regime in Germany. His collection consists of 21 linear feet of manuscript material, correspondence and pamphlets. A microfilm use copy of the collection (DD205.L33 A3 1994) and a finding aid are available in the Special Collections Department.

Living History Collection

Ludwig Lewisohn Collection
The collection contains 65 linear feet of manuscript material consisting of personal letters, scrapbooks and galley proofs of some of Lewisohn's works. It also includes a collection of first editions and translations of his publications. A finding aid is available on the Special Colections Department web site. - A collection of letters to and from Lewisohn, including letters to his mother and his wife, Thelma; as well as some literary notes by Lewisohn in German (E184.J5 L6672)

David Niles Papers
The collection includes correspondence, documents, newspaper clippings, photographs and memorabilia dealing with such subjects as Palestine and Israel, the Holocaust and Jewish refugees, Antisemitism in the United States, the WPA and Brandeis University. 19th-century Russian Photograph Collection
The collection of 91 photographs of Tolstoy at Yasnaya Polyana, Anton Chekov and others serve to illustrate Russian literary life in the 19th century.

Sacco-Vanzetti Trial
This consists of four separate collections related to the Sacco-Vanzetti Trial.
- Frank Russell Collection - Author of two books about Sacco and Vanzetti, this collection contains some of the personal papers of Frank Russell. A finding aid is available on the Special Collection Department's web site.
- Thomas O'Connor Collection - Boston journalist involved in the Sacco-Vanzetti Trial and its aftermath, the collection contains a large number of newsclippings about Sacco and Vanzetti. A finding aid is available on the Special Collection Department's web site.
- Gardner Jackson Collection - This collection includes articles and writings, book reviews and letters to the editor pertaining to the SaccoVanzetti Trial. A finding aid is available on the Special Collection Department's web site.
- Mrs. Walter Frank Collection - This collection consisting of 2 linear feet of material includes material pertaining to the Sacco-Vanzetti National League (New York, N.Y.), the Sacco-Vanzetti Defense Committee (Boston, MA), Tom O'Connor-Vincenzina Vanzetti correspondence; correspondence to Frank Russell and other related material. Sikorski Collection
The Wladyslaw Sikorski Archives in London include documents and materials of the Polish Government in Exile, dealing with the period of the Second World War. The present collection, consisting of 1/2 linear feet of documents, contains typewritten copies of documents which refer to Jewish affairs of this Government. Spanish Civil War Collection
The collection contains more than 5,000 books and pamphlets pertaining to various aspects of the Spanish Civil War, the Spanish exiles, the Franco regime, as well as, literary works pertaining to the conflict. Also, it has a large selection of richly illustrated wall posters that were used for propaganda purposes, for which an online finding aid exists. Theresienstadt Concentration Camp Documents
The collection includes over 200 "daily order" bulletins issued by the German command. Some bulletins contain lists of arrival and departure of internees. . A finding list is available in the Department. Photocopying is restricted.

Chaim Weizmann Papers

This collection, given to the Library by Rosemary Krensky, sheds light on Wise's relationship with members of his family and in particular Gertrude Bock Hauser and Rosemary Krensky.
