Room Reservation Policies and Procedures

Guidelines for Requesting Space in the Library

  • All space reuqests must be submitted through the Room Reservation Form, 3 business days before the requested date.
  • Spaces are available beginning 30 minutes after the Library opens each day, and ending 30 minutes before closing. Library hours can be reviewed here.
  • If an event requires the use of a space not listed on the Room Reservation Form (ie an open area or exhibit space), the requestor can select the “Other” option of the Room field, and clarify in the provided text box.
  • We are unable to book spaces for events that recur more than twice per semester. For classes, ongoing meetings, and other events that require more than two uses of a room, please contact the Registrar.
  • Event organizers are responsible for set-up and clean-up of spaces.  If the event needs set-up and clean-up time, this should be figured into the time requested.

How to Request Space in the Library

  • Complete the Room Reservation Form a minimum of 3 business days before the event.
  • A library staff member will be in contact within 2-3 business days.
  • For locked spaces, check in at the Information & Borrowing desk on the first floor of Goldfarb at the time of the reservation.
