Microsoft now requires Windows users have a genuine validated copy of Microsoft Windows before giving access to the microsoft download area on its web site. As a result, users without genuine (not pirated) versions of Windows will be unable to keep their computers secure from system vulnerabilities nor will they have access to Microsoft Anti-Spyware.
