Registration Celebration and Absentee Jamboree

The Registration Celebration takes place mid September:

Moved to Waltham from another state and not sure what your voting options are?  Changed your Massachusetts address and need to update it and find your new polling place?  Aren't registered but want to be?  Not sure how to vote absentee in your state?  We can help!

Drop by the main desk at the library to speak to a librarian or a staff person about your options.  We can help you register in Massachusetts or your home state, and navigate the absentee ballot process. 

Can't attend this event?  No problem!  Librarians at the Research Help desk are available to help throughout the election season.

The Absentee Jamboree follows up in mid October:

Received your paper ballot from your home state but unsure what to do now?  Need to confirm your absentee application was received and processed by your state?  Aren't sure if you can vote absentee electronically?  Stop by the Info & Borrowing Desk to chat with a librarian or staff person about your next steps!  We'll have:

  • Stamps for those who need to mail in their ballots
  • Witnesses available if your ballot requires this service
  • A Notary Public to notarize documentation that may require it

We can also help you find out if it's too late to register, or what to do if you haven't received your ballot.
