Web & Middleware Development

The Web & Middleware Development (WMD) group is Brandeis' in-house development shop. We provide critical services to LTS and the university at large. Specifically:

• Designing and developing the Identity Management (IDM) infrastructure. This system gives appropriate information access to all members of our community whether they're tenured faculty or one day contractors.
• Developing the "middleware" -- once thought an unlikely goal ;) -- that allows robust and maintainable interaction between core systems (PeopleSoft, LATTE, myBrandeis, etc.)
• Internal consulting, business analysis, and project management services.
• Developing, modifying, and maintaining enterprise-level web applications for internal and external use (the people directory, online giving form, and the admissions online application, to name a few).
• Provide support for web editing and content management tools, including Cascade CMS.
