The Software Architecture & Programming group has two primary responsibilities. First, we design and develop the Identity Management infrastructure for the university. This system gives appropriate information access to all members of our community whether they're tenured faculty or one day contractors. Second, we develop the "middleware" (once thought an unlikely goal ;) that allows robust and maintainable interaction between core systems like PeopleSoft, myBrandeis, library systems and others.
