During Academic Year 2007-2008, Library and Technology Services will replace WebCT with Moodle, a robust, open source, community-supported learning environment with a proven track record that has been implemented successfully at many colleges and universities. This project has been launched to address the risks inherent in WebCT's underlying architecture, which is ill-equipped to handle ongoing heavy use and future growth at Brandeis.
